My Favorite Cyclists for 2010…. No.2 Tony Martin

Posted in Uncategorized by lagazzettadellabici on January 25, 2010

Basically Tony Martin is going be one of cycling’s greatest ever riders. You heard it here first. Last season it was scandalous that most of the English speaking cycling press basically ignored him for most of the year and either spend their time with their heads up Lance Armstrong’s arse or when they did finally interview him wasted most of the interview insulting him by asking what it was like riding for Cavendish. Hang your heads in shame cycle press as you have missed out on one hell of a rider. So this year wake up and have a look through the rest of the peleton instead of being lazy and resting you laurels on the egomaniac, press hungry cockends sucking the oxygen off the new talented generation of riders bursting onto the scene. Tony M can do it all, ride as fast as the wind, climb up mountains and time trial with the best of them. I’m not sure if he will get the chance to shine being part of Mark Cavendish’s search for sprint domination but expect to see more great results, quiet achievements and amazing performances this year.

Tony Martin (born April 23, 1985 in Cottbus) riding for the UCI ProTeam Team HTC-Columbia.
