First race injury of the season.

Today’s Whalley Range Tesco’s Crit ended short for me when I decided to ride into a wall at 20mph. Luckly the only thing that took a beating was the knee I hardly ever use, oh and my Santini’s saw the worst of it. So MR Santini if you would like to send me some new bibs I would love them as much as I loved this pair. That’s my friend Marcelle Holt’s cat FATTY in the background. I don’t like cats.

Kraftwerk Video and words by Jorge Aguirre

Man and Machine
Synchronized in one rhythm
Powered by adrenaline
Winning is his only symptom

In a battle of Titans
His bicycle races
In his eyes the glory Brightens
Spreading fear in their faces

In the final sprint
Comes the moment of truth
No fear not even a hint
Forever victory will live in his youth
