100 Greatest Cycling Climbs: A Road Cyclist’s Guide to Britain’s Hills
I received an advanced copy of this book this week from La Gazzetta’s road captain Paul. We were on our way to the Chiltern Hills and one of the climbs was in it that we would be riding that day. Now we don’t have the Alps or the Dolomites in this country but we do have some great climbs for every kind of rider and this book has it all. Its small enough to carry with you on trips and is very acurate, informative and basically my new favorite book. I’m not sure when it is published but the author Simon Warren is on twitter so you can ask him yourself. One of my favorite bits is the ‘tick-off as you go’ section at the back where you can catalogue your attempts to climb each hill.
